Chimping: a term used in digital photography (especially when using a digital single-lens reflex camera or DSLR) to describe the habit of checking every photo on the on-camera display (LCD) immediately after each shot.
I dont chimp, but I do check out my images on the little TV on there. I dont know why else they would put a TV on the back of a camera. For some reason, it doesnt work on my film camera.

That little TV thingy doesn't change channels either. I get the flower channel and that's about it!
I think everyone is guilty of chimping in their own style....I often utter "ahhh sweet!!"
