OK, so I drove up a few miles from my home today into the country just to take pictures. Not been on these particular roads before. I find myself on Eakins Cemetery Rd, so I think...hmm, must be a cemetery around here. Well, there was! And the funny thing...the entire time I'm '"snapping", I'm thinking Chiller would like this. I don't know Chiller but that he lives in a crypt, has dragons and likes spiders - LOL. So Chiller, this one's (or two or three) for you...

Nice shots, Debbi. I have to say, I can no longer shoot at a cemetary without thinking of Chiller. I find myself studying a particular statue thinking, how would he shoot this? I'm sure I never get anywhere close to what he would come up with, but it inspires me nonetheless.

Whenever I get back to an old cemetery, I try to picture a funeral from those days, everyone in black, the black hats on the men, the black cloth over the ladies faces.....black horses, and all. Something about those times, when funerals seemed so beautiful. Dang, I wanna make a movie. :lol:

You just gotta love an old cemetery. Some people think it's gross to wander them but I find it interesting. I'm Debbi does too.

I like the 3rd one the best...has that sort of neglected, old look. Welcome to the darkside! Chiller draws people into this area with the hypnotic trance of a vampire! He is the "master" after all! My husband calls this whole site the "darkside" since I started going to cemetaries to take pics! :lol:

Thanks everyone! Yes, there is something about an old cemetery that has character. I actually went back today to get a few more shots so I'm sure they will be coming to a Darkside Thread near you soon.:popcorn:
