Another stab at HDR...still working on the halos.

yep, the halos are pretty noticable.

what type of image do start with...raw, jpg, tif, and what software do you use?

The halos seem to be a side effect of extreme HDR.

Is this image from a multi photo set or from a faux HDR from one raw image.

Most of my HDR attempts are from one raw image, and these halos appear regularly.

I have even had these halos try to form in non HDR processing when trying to bring out detail in a nearly blown area of a photo.
