Ventured up to Georgetown, for a trek around the old mill. I will try to find a blurb on this place, but what a fascinating place to wander in. The machines are long gone, and there is not much left , except a crumbling building.
A view from the road.

A lot of hazzards, and missing floors. If your not paying attention you can drop 2 floors in a second.

Down some of the darkened caverns, there were some cool finds. If not for the flashlight, I could not have shot this. Painted with light.

#s 4 & 5 are my favs. I like the archs and tracks in #4 and #5 is just cool with the abstract paint and wheelbarrow. Nice job on all of them.

Cool series.
But the Graffiti Artists ruin places like that for me.
No telling how many similar places like that I would have shot if only the spray paint #@&^*% had not been there first!
What do those screwballs get out of doing that????

Truly a photographers paradise and you did it justice Carl. I love your final shot here, from the shade into the sunlight, and all the colours and textures of the brickwork and rusty steelwork and the various levels and the perspective. great

You could have a real adventurous time there, I really like the photo of the archways and the one light painted one with the wheelbarrow.
