musician and backup bassist (cell phone)

check out the guy on the right playing 'air' bass. :D

this guitarist was amazing. caught him while leaving l'enfant metro station after work today (kelox and jocose should know the spot). long before i reached the escalator entrance...still far underground, i could here this faint beautiful classical sound echoing through the tunnel. as i got closer to the top the sound became clearer and more distinct. i immediately knew i was in for a treat when i reached the top...it was like being a little kid with that anticipation of what you're gonna discover. i was surprised to see only one instrument! at one point it sounded like peeling bells then would turn into this haunting wail like a mounful cry. the combination was brilliant. this was not the setting for his sound, and others around me knew it as well. most were listening with eyes shut.

i've seen many performers in my years and imo the best musicians can be found on street corners throughout the world.

i hope to see him and many others again.

Palster....I used to laugh at the old 80s vids like Bon Jovi playing on the side of a big arse mountain, amps, drums and the whole shebangs. They sure had some dang long 'stension cords. :lol:
