The obvious technical and compositional flaws dropped this one in the 'snapshot' bin, but this was a fun capture and the hair works so well with the dress, so I thought I'd share.

That's great lighting for a snapshot. How is it lit?

580 EX II on the shoe bounced off of the ceiling straight up, no bounce card. Ceilings are 10' so I compensate about +1 to + 1 1/3 EV on the flash itself. The edges are burned in post using a multiply layer and clearing the inner 90% of the frame with a pretty wide feather which (I think) gives the light a little direction in post it doesn't have in the raw image.

I think its a cool shot. Snapshot or not....still diggin this one. The movement and all is great:thumbsup::thumbsup:
