Still Trying

Ok, so I'm still attempting the whole HDR thing. Upon reading the first part of Linc's tutorial, I know one big thing I'm doing wrong, these were all shot in JPEG. The first two are of a tractor that I attempted. I personally like the darker of the two, but am curious to know what everyone else thinks. The last is of a water garden that I just can't seem to get right. Just another shot that took many shots to create a non-HDR looking picture!

P.S. Sorry about my daughter's hand in the lighter version, forgot to clone it out in that one!

Remember that it doesn't have to LOOK like HDR. If you have taken a broad range of tones and compressed it into a viewable image, you've done your job.

I like the contrast in the second.

Thanks, Calliope and Linc. I know it doesn't neccessarily have to look HDR, but I have a certain look in mind when I go into a shot like the last and its sorta dissapointing when it doesn't turn out like I envisioned. However, it is for this reason that I continue to try and improve!
