These are absolutely stunning! Are they true HDR or composed from one shot? They look like they would have to be true, but who am I to know for sure?? Great work on these!

I have a d40x, so I don't have the ability to do bracketing . The day I took these shots, I lugged my tripod around, taking six shots of each picture I thought would look cool as an HDR. Well......I can't change my settings on my camera fast enough (or keep the camera steady) to keep the clouds similar in all six. Even if I took three, i'm still not fast enough. So, yeah, they are all from one shot. I save them as tiff's then open in photomatix.

I am certainly going to have to figure out just how you do this then. I have tried taking all the images adjusting the settings manually and have yet to produce anything this beautiful.
