Senior portrait session. All images shot with SB-28's off camera. Some with umbrella, some without. Some with one flash and some with two :D

I'm jealous too - I wish I had just a small portion of your talent!! These are so great Woody!

Awesome use of shadows & light ... awesome use of negative space .... and how cool is the couch in the middle of nowhere look?!?
I love his cocky smile in the last one ... that's awesome!

Thanks everyone!
Senior portraits of boys are about a thousand times harder than girls. This was my first "true" male senior shoot. I've had a couple sessions in the past with guys, but they were just the Plane Jane type.

Thanks Jill. Me either!
I hate my senior pics. Some guy stuck me in a room with a colored backdrop and a couple big blocks and a ball :dunno: Then he put me in these crazy, unnatural positions. My goal is to make these kids feel comfortable and give them something they are proud to share.
If they want to be locked in a room with some blocks they can go to Olan Mills or daycare :jocose:

These are probably the best senior pictures I've ever seen! I'll bet he is super happy with these and will be proud to give these out to his friends. Although they are all good, I think that 2 and 3 are my favorites.

Thanks you guys.
I found the bricks on the front of an old closed Von's supermarket. The window and raggedy blinds are just above his head :)
