I nearly didn't post any of these because despite some tweaking in PS I just couldn't get the colour even close to the originals - they were white. I don't think the tubes in the light box are daylight (and I really should have taken the things out of the tranny bags...).
This one is from a 10x8.
I liked photographing shoes. They are one of the hardest objects to do.

Hmm, you say the colours aren't even close to the originals, yet I really like the colours. Go figure. It's so interesting to see how the lighting/background really set off the subject of the photograph.

I never thought a shot of a purse and a high-heeled shoe would be appealing to me, but I really like this shot. Nicely done.

I never would have thought a picture of a purse and shoe could have such an impact on my visual senses.
A most excellent series of posts, your use of light is sublime and the comps are brilliant. I have a lot respect for these pictures, I find it's the toughest genre in photography to make interesting.:clap:
