Does it ever bother anyone else that we aren't deemed capable enough to make up our own minds about anything anymore?? Awkward image I think, didn't know quite what to do with this one...

You post it! That's what you do with it :p
A little chaotic, but it works. I like that the people are all framed in the middle.

Chaotic is exactly the right word for this, woody...you ever look at something and wonder whether you actually hate it and yet you keep going back for a second look?? Well, I finally gave in. ;) Cheers for the feedback. :)

I like it! Makes me think of Escher and Cartier-Bresson. Good eye...

I like this shot as well, but I'm also getting what you mean about not quite knowing what to do with it. Is there a slightly different angle that you could take this from? I think that it would be neat to see it from the angle of looking directly down on the stairs or from the right side a bit more if that is at all possible and if you get what I mean. I can "see" what I am trying to explain, but can't really put in words properly... sorry.

Reminds me of a song I once heard about signs. Good shot.

So maybe it works a little, it was one of those images I nearly deleted, you know when you think, this is beyond saving for a million reasons? Paws, it's a tricky place to shoot, there are masses of these stairs hanging over the cliffs, about seven flights probably and each flight kinda blocks your view from the next flight, difficult to explain, I just couldn't get any straight angles from any direction. Appreciate the feedback and I do know exactly what you mean, those reasons are why I was so unsure about this one! :) Thanks everyone for looking. :)

sounds like a very cool place to shoot

How about this...go back in a helicopter and take a shot from the air to give us an idea of what the overall scene is and then we can give suggestions on the best vantage point...that sounds easy enough, right? :D

Kidding aside, I concur - the chaos makes it work. At first I was like "ditc the sign", but now I think that adds an important anchor to the scene. Nice job!

Now if I didn't have a fear of heights and a fear of flying, unless I'm under sedation, the helicopter deal sounds like a good one, jason! I wasn't even all that comfortable hanging over the stairs to take this! Came over all dizzy..what a wimp! Thanks for looking and for your feedback, jason and megapaws. :)

Ain't it a truth, it's got really over the top over here in England, I think it's visual pollution and they need to calm down and stop causing more confusion with yet another sign. I'm sure drivng is way more hazardous these days, so busy reading, forget the sterring part!
