Oh man, they're all incredibly detailed (especially the feathers in #5 - unbelieveable!). I just love your shots. It looks like #2 was taken from a submarine, and you even got the serrated edges on the swan's jaw, and the red bit in the corner of its beady eye, in #4.

No2 - the duck and colours with that viewpoint is wonderful and the close-up of the swan is superb - you are making me envious of your skills.

thanks everyone.. I am messing around with the 200-400 zoom lens, and trying the 1.7 TC, and 1.4 TC ... not getting what I had hoped for, but still learning how to use them., looks like I need a 500 f4 from santa! maybe next year.

my faves are #1 & 4
#1... love the freeze! wow.. and the colors! beautiful dof and bg colors!
#4... the water drops! so crystal clear! damn raymond... you just get better and better... love the reflection with it... beautiful!

I must make a trip down the road - only ablut 5 miles to the RSPB Wildfowl Trust at Welney as the Hooper Swans are arriving. Make a change from the little fellas I have been trying to capture in the garden. Been trying Sigma 2.8 70-200 with 1.5 and 2x TC.

the swan... the swan...that is one killer shot....they are all great..

but i pulled people in here to see the dang swan shot...
