Clifford Hotel IS haunted. I have actual proof now. Anyhow, this one is for the nuts, like myself, who love taking pictures of the weird. There is actually a documented history of a haunting in this very hotel. I found the listing online, then bought a book at the Tunkhannock Founder's Day event last month, and read the story. I will have to copy and paste what I found on the website when I get time. The book greatly differs in the story and recorded haunting(s) than does the website posting.
This couple bought the hotel in the late 1800's and died in 1940. They now haunt the hotel. Clifford Hotel is in the next town, and I drive by once a week, and have taken many pictures of this same building. This time, though...I captured the ghosties!! :D

Many years ago I was in a bookstore, perusing a book which claimed England has more ghosts per square mile than any other country. I don't know how they arrived at that conclusion but it seems Pennsylvania has more than England, because I actually only saw one when I lived there. I think seeing ghosts in pairs is unique, especially married ones which I presume they are. :woot:
Most definitely, Chuckabutty...Pairs, married or unmarried, are a rarity when siting a ghost, and I have to say I was truly honoured to not only spot this pair, but they actually posed so I could take their picture! See, they are terribly proud of their old hotel, and were thrilled to have their picture taken next to it. By the way, I have a new camera which takes pictures of ghosts! If you want to buy it, it isn't cheap, but I did hear you wanted a new lens for your old camera, so this special G15GHOST (lens) might be something you would consider. :D

I use a set of spectral filters which I purchased from "Apparitions R Us" photographic supplies. Trouble is there are no ghosts around here. They don't like the beach area with all the crowds. They prefer old houses to do their poltergeisting in.
That's a pity you don't have ghosts there. I would think they might enjoy a swim or to surf a wave! Did you see some of my other ghost shots? :D

Me too. We have a haunted village here too, not too far away. Suppossedly, a custodian "haunts" the little village (which is a replica of an 19th century town) and cleans all up after the events. (Old Mill Village, New Milford, Pa)
