Shot these last year. I found this old abandoned fire engine in a farmers field, but could not get any closer. Had to shoot these from the side of the road.

Nice series, and I like the title you chose. #1 and 3 are my faves. Good eye. You certainly stumble along some great finds in your travels (like the piano etc.)
(Agggghhhhh! Bite your tongue JM! No snow yet, thankfully. May get a flurry on Sunday though)

Nice shots here Carl, I guess it's a matter of keeping your eyes open! Next time maybe you can jump the fence and see if it has a old "crank siren"...Is that a "La France or Le France"?
(wish it would snow here...)

I love Number 1! I think it says it all.
But I like the tones on all the others as well. Anty is right, you find some great stuff when you go ahunting!

Lovely shots - the sort of thing that can get used as an irrigation pump around here.
As a student at Guys used to have a part share in an old Daimler Ambulance - then Hospital hearse so as not to upset the patients and then a student passion waggon! Excellent for getting through London traffic when police on point duty controlled it! By the time they saw us it was too late and we were through.
