PG,

Technically, it seems to my inexperienced eye to be well shot, the tones are nice, it has a good feel of balance, and the lighting seems great.

Yet.... I'm not sure about it. I think for me it is missing something to root the two petals (??) to reality...does that make sense? It feels like a disembodied head would...I'm not sure if that makes sense or not. I guess I get a feeling of falling when I look at it.

Other than that it's an interesting shot, and I appreciate you sharing it.

Thanks so much for your thoughtful comments Jo.......I am rather glad you got the feeling of falling because what I was trying to acheive was the feeling that two hearts were falling in love! :)

There you go :)

Yea, definitely feel the falling, and now that you tell me that that was the idea, I totally see the falling in love thing...see, now I have a whole new appreciation for it.

I really need to take some art criticism courses, so I can get that kind of stuff when I look at it, you know?

Tones are good, love the way the petals pop out of the picture. They do look like they are falling .

Nice idea (the 'falling' in love) and well executed... I love the tones to and I actually really like the composition. Beautiful!
