I'm working in Savannah this week and made a trip out to Ft Pulaski, a civil war era fort. I antiqued these photos to go along with the theme. Let me know what you think....

Those are great shots. I love CW history.

The 1st and 2nd shot, if you darkened them a bit, maybe add a touch of contrast, they would really look like the real thing. You would just need some troops around them. You would be right there with Brady. I would even like to see them in straight B&W with no antique look if you don't mind.

I really like them.

I have been there several times. You did a great job of capturing the feel of the place. Next time take the short drive to Fort Sumpter in Charleston SC its only about a hour and a half from their. I need to take a trip down their and take some pics. Their is also a naval musem in charleston too. So you can get some old war shots and some new ones.

Excellent! The Noise that is in most of them, makes them look very period.

I like the old time feel of them, very much.. the grain works well for this kind of shot ..

I think I like the first series the most, it has an old authentic feel to it, the grain and the faded out appearance makes it seem like you pulled them from old history book.
