This is the Baker Hotel in Mineral Wells, Texas. The Hotel is currently closed to the public. It opened its doors in 1929. It was designed after the Arlington Hotel in Hot Springs, Arkansas by Wyatt Hendrick of Fort Worth. This 14 story structure is 180 feet tall, containing some 450 rooms and 250,000 square feet. The hotel played host to such celebrities as Jack Dempsey, Jean Harlow, Marlene Dietrick, Clark Gable, Judy Garland, and the Three Stooges. It was closed in 1972.
