Rare Headboard.

Why? It's made of wood and wood rots. This area is one of the wettest in the state yet we found several, rotted wooden headboards. These are the first wooden headboards I have found in the state.

This poor soul will forever be forgotten let alone trying to date it.

There may have been no stone cutters or it could have been a matter of money.

Excellent sir. They would never survive up here.
I remember when I had a wooden gravestone in my garden. yeah, it was a leftover from halloween....:lol:....and I kept it in the back yard to scare off the new normal neighbors that had a fixation for rap music. :lol::lol: It only lasted 4 years, befor the rot settled in. I ended up digging the gravestone out, and the body, and tossed them in the trash. :lol:
