The Villa Marre

You may recognize this house from the sitcom Designing Women. The exterior of the house was used for the set when they showed the outside of their house. The house was built in 1881 in a combination of Italianate and Second Empire styles of architecture. Angelo Marre was a noted saloonkeeper and built the house with an inheritance he received from a Madame.

No, I haven't been inside. I was reading about it and it no longer is like the original form. Previous owners have done renovations on the inside.
