Battleship Cove

A few shots from Battleship Cove in Fall River. It supposedly the worlds largest naval ship exhibit. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to go through all the ships due to some tired kids. A must place to visit if ever in the area. :)

The nearest ship is Hiddensee the worlds only exhibited example of a Soviet-built missle covrvette,the middle is USS Lionfish sub and the back one is Destroyer Joseph P Kennedy Jr..

You sure can. I think I was on the Battleship itself for almost three hours. They have a lot of exhibits on there as well as preserverved sections of how things were back in the day. I need to go back again without the kids. They didn't appreciate all the memorabilia.

Hey I've been thinking of heading down for a visit myself for the past few weeks along with hitting Georges Island for Fort Warren. Last time I was at BC has gotta be almost 30 years ago, man I'm getting old fast. :(

:lol: I was thinking of trying to hit the Faire this weekend also, really depends if I'm working or not. I'm tossing around the idea of just using my RF for it since I've got a ND filter coming Friday so the sun won't be a problem. Now I just need to burn off the roll of B&W that's loaded, maybe I'll see about getting out to the fort today to do that.
