I like this shot a lot, but I have to be honest, I feel it's a little flat...I'm not sure if boosting the contrast will do it or what...I can't put my finger on it, but the bottom line is that it's a good compo!


No, you know, I just looked at it again, and I think I'm wrong. I actually like the tones...not sure what I was thinking before about it being flat...I'll edit again if I figure it out :)

excellent handling of the tones in this. controling the large area of white and still leaving good detail on the left wasn't an easy task.

when i first viewed it, i had a similar thought to that of jocose. i added a tad of contrast to the lips which balanced it nicely. but it's hardly worth mentioning except to see if that might be where jo was heading.
