This is an older shot that I posted on another forum and it basically went unnoticed. With the exception of one guy who constructively accused me of doctoring the pyramid into its current position. To show that I did not doctor it, I re-possessed it with just raw adjustments and I think it turned out pretty good, I like it better than my previous alterations, still no one seemed to care for it. ....so my question here is what do you guys think?

I think it's pretty cool! It's not the usual image you see with the bridge. I like the lighting too...the bridge is highlighted easily making it the focus, but then, in contrast, the soft lighting of the background lets you appreciate the city scene. Two thumbs up! My only problem with it has nothing to do with your image...they need to fix that light on top of the bridge! ;)

judging from the dof and star effect on the bridge light this was a few seconds exposure with a tight f/? i like the framing of the highrise and you chose a fitting time of day. very effective. what are the two short streaks just above the cable?

Shot settings are f8 with a 6 second exposure, 200 ISO, Zoom to 275mm the two steaks are jets that I have not had a chance to edit of of this version. Thanks for the critique JM, I just want learn more about what I am doing right and what can improved on the photography end of things. I'm pretty good with the post process stuff (although I over do it sometimes), I just feel I still have much to learn on the front end.

Thanks guys for commenting I do appreciate the feedback!

PS to Waltdsgirl I'll see if I can find someone to tell about the light, but I think for some reason they do it on purpose, the other tower has one out too.

I like this too. The bridge looks like a window to the city. The softness of the lighting makes the city look almost dream like. :)
