I'm sort of forcing myself to dust off the ol' 1D and take her out for a spin occasionally.

Using the 135L with the 2XTC and a full set of tubes, for a second I thought they would block the flash it was such a close working distance.

Now I just need to find some bugs that won't ig me out(yeah yeah yeah, I'm a big sissy when it comes to some bugs).:run:

Thanks everyone, I think I'll try using my 300 next with the TC and tubes to see about increasing the distance so I'm not right on top of things. Of course that will be a rediculously heavy macro set up, I'm a little concerned about the tubes being able to take all that weight.

Maybe I shouldn't be such a cheapskate and just get a proper set up, but where's the fun in that? :lol:
