This ol tattered flag and stone caught my eye while walking through the cemetery. It was nice to see that he was still remembered. There are so many Canadian soldiers graves I have come across that are not repaired, crumbling, and some are just overgrown. It is sad really.

It is sad that they are just left to crumble and rot after what these men and women did for their countries. It is a great shot.

Gravestones carry a story in the dash between the date of birth and the date of death.
Sad that someone's 29 year old son was taken too soon.
