This was once a working iron furnace near where I live. It's maintained by the local historical society and government.
Carpenter's Shop remains

Weigh Station House though the Carpenter's Shop arched doorway and the remaining furnace tower through the Carpenter's Shop window

Thank you everyone! I've been busily photographing the field of grape hyacinths at this same park that are only in bloom for 2 weeks. I'll be posting some shots of the field soon. :D

What a great place T. I like the 3rd the best of the lot. Seems like a nice place to just go and hang out with a book. :)

I love walking here. There is always something to photograph and you are right, Carl, it's a great place to sit and relax/read. :D
I was there a lot these past two weekends since the grape hyacinths are in bloom. I'll post a few shots of them in a separate thread.

Grape Hyacinths but Bluebells to the locals here.

Wow, what a great place! You seem to have captured it well. Looks like a great place for a wedding, too.
