Baker House

This beautiful Queen Anne Victorian was built in 1898-99 by a black gentleman named A.E. Colburn. He was a well known jockey in England. After building the house, he was never allowed to live in it because of his color. He sold it in 1901. The house features a "moon gate", three story tower, and granite lentils and sills.
