Playing around with the Orton effect

Jackie, this is great! I especially love the mirror shine on the car! What is the Orton effect? Is that a particular HDRn software?

I processed this picture HDR, then used Orton effect on the entire picture, then I masked back in the original HDR version of the car.

Excellent. Perfect example of pushing HDR saturation to the limit without stepping over. Pleasing composition as well, esp the reflections in the car.

Do you think the background is too much? It was actually the Orton effect making the sky, leaves, etc. more saturated. I don't believe it was as saturated in just the HDR version.

I'm not a big HDR fan but I really like this! I think because of the marvelous shine on the car the background is that last thing you notice! :yahoo:
