One of the longest running county fairs in the United States is located in Puyallup. They also boast the oldest wooden roller coaster. Over one million people will attend the event during it's three week run.

I love the boardwalk-type fairs ... but the wooden roller coaster would be a deal breaker for me. Actually, anything over three feet off the ground is a deal breaker for me!!

I'm all about spending my time down food alley!! Fried this, fried that ... heaven!!

The only thing that didn't interest me was the chocolate covered bacon. Ick!

They had chocolate covered bacon there this year along with the fried twinkies, snickers, and whatever else they can fry.

That's a pumpkin and not cheese. It does look like cheese.
